1. Dryer
A. Summarization
Dryer is one of the key parts in asphalt plant. The drum is made of high quality refractory steel. Different shape guiding and raising flitchs installed inside in sequence, the drum can form different material shade at different section inside, so as to heat the aggregate efficiently in short time and protect drum itself.
The drum is installed on two heat-inflation permitting tires (large steel ring) via flexible Z-shape board.
Four-friction trunnions support and drive drum, and are inclined to horizontal line.
Thrust rollers are used to prevent excessive longitudinal displacement.
Two ends of the drum are installed with heat-resistant silicon rubber board to airproof the drum and prevent excessive air to enter.
B. Check-up before start-up
. The plant has been tested before leaving factory. But it is bumped and quivered during delivery term. So, it is needed to check up the plant carefully before start-up.
all bolts are screwed down.
all driving equipments are adjusted according to manufacturer manual.
lubricate the complete set of machine according to the relevant chapter.
read burner operating specification carefully.
read gear case manual carefully and fill lubrication.
start electromotor and check all friction trunnions for running orientation and stability.
check pressure gauge of burner for its performance, and adjust safety valve to correct pressure.
check igniting gas of burner for applicability, ensure the valve is opened.
. Stable run.
ignite and adjust burner according to its specification.
burner performing, run the machine for adequate time to test flame. In empty drum and with small flame, this period should be no more than 5 minutes.
when dryer can perform effectively, aggregate can be added, and the complete set of equipment operates.
it is suggested that manipulate equipment with manual mode firstly, until its capacity and discharging temperature reaches prescribed value, switch to automation mode.
