Appearance identification after hot in place recycling treatment for road pavement:
(1) Smooth and dense surface, there should be no flushing, loosening, crack, segregation of coarse and fine aggregate. Defective area shall not exceed 0.03% of the inspected area.
(2) Joints should be compact and smooth.
(3) Construction lane and the adjacent lane should be connected smoothly, elevation difference should meet the standard requirements.
(4) No obvious wheelmarks on the surface.
Other control points in the construction process of surface course
(1) The milling depth should be uniform. Various depth of milling will seriously affect the uniformity of the recycled mixture and the evenness of the recycling pavement.
(2) Precise control of the added material. Spraying system of adding material like additive should be accurate and adequately mixed, which is the key factor to ensure the quality of the recycling road surface. Through calibrating before construction and everyday accounting of total amount in the construction process, the new added material addition amount should be controlled within the range of ±3% of designed requirements.
(3) Control of evenness and compactness
Paving should be maintained continuous, stable, uninterrupted at a constant speed, carry out pretreatment to the bridge head (joint), start and end and other key parts.
Arrange specially-assigned person to control the rolling mode, rolling sequence, rolling numbers, rolling temp., rolling speed , roller watering, rolling section length and turning method and other links.
